The Haunted Mansion Math Game!

Keep your kids entertained and actually looking forward to the bell ringer with this Haunted Mansion Math Game! All you need is a pair of dice, a printer, and some scissors.

Here's how it works:

The story takes place over a 20 day period (so 4 weeks of class time). You have a set of 32 cards, so that you can shuffle and draw a new one each day, and no two classes will have the same experience.

You put a bell ringer math problem up on the board either from the suggested problems in the back or just make up one of your own. The kids who get the question right get to vote on what happens. You read them the daily description of what's going on in the mansion, draw one of the cards, and give the kids one or two minutes to come up with suggestions for what to do. Then they vote on which suggestion they do.

You roll the dice to see if it fails miserably, kinda works, or is a smashing success! And you get to make up how. It's a great way to mess with your kids!

The game comes with: 20 days of story-lines, 32 random cards for them to draw (see the thumbnails for examples), a tracking sheet to keep up with what stuff the kids have available, and 20 suggested math problems suitable to the grade level.

Now, finally, there's something important you need to know. The only difference between each version of this game are the 20 suggested math problems at the end. If you'd rather just make up problems yourself, pick any version and go to town! If you're a curriculum coordinator and you're wanting to do this across multiple grade levels, don't bother buying multiple versions, just get one and have your teachers do their own math problems with it. (Am I tamping down on sales by telling you this? Probably. But I've been there with a limited budget and a class to teach.)
